Used indoors for fitting kitchen units and wooden battens to porous masonry materials without pre-drilling. However when fixing to Leca, pre-drilling of a hole 1 mm less than the relevant plug diameter is required. Pre-drill the material that is to be fixed, knock in the plug with a hammer, turn no more than six turns, and the plug will expand, like a knot.
